Sarah Brehaut
Sarah is an Advocate and Partner at Walkers (Guernsey LLP).
In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog, reading and travel.
Georgies first job when she left school was working as Sarah’s secretary at what was then F Haskins & Co. before they both moved on to pastures new. Sarah has remained in close contact with the family and, on occasion, Georgie would babysit for her daughters.
Sarah said she was delighted to be asked to be one of the Trustees and would always remember Georgie for her vivacious character, strong work ethic and family values.
Peter Le Cheminant
Peter is the former head teacher of Les Beaucamps High School.
He retired in August 2014 and is currently an independent learning and development consultant. Peter likes to take every opportunity to improve on his Spanish and enjoys walking and gardening.
Peter has fond memories of Georgie and is honoured to be a trustee of the foundation as he knows what a good representation the charity is of her warm and vibrant character. His daughter Lauren was in the same school year as Georgie at both St Martins Primary School and Les Beaucamps High School and as a result Peter has become a close family friend.
Annie Le Prevost
Annie works for Savills, one of Guernsey’s leading local estate agencies.
Annie studied Business Studies for two years at the Guernsey College of Further Education and prior to this attending Les Beaucamps High School.
Annie likes to stay active by going to the gym, swimming and taking long walks on the beautiful Guernsey cliffs. Annie has a strong interest in travel and loves to take trips off island whenever possible to experience different cultures and sample new foods!
Being Georgie’s sister, Annie wanted to be involved in the establishment of something positive and feels that the foundation is a wonderful way to keep Georgie’s memory alive. Annie hopes to see Georgie’s happy and bubbly personality reflected in every charitable act that the foundation carries out.
Jenny Le Prevost
Jenny is a housewife who dedicates a significant amount of her time to the foundation.
Jenny enjoys swimming, walking, cooking and travel.
The foundation was established by the family to turn a tragic event in our lives into something positive and to act as a lasting legacy to Georgie.
Georgie will be with us every day of our lives and the work Jenny does for the foundation reflects her commitment to make a difference to peoples lives by identifying and providing acts of kindness in her memory.
Louise Kelly
Louise is a Paralegal at Mourant Ozannes
Louise moved to the Island in August 2014 and worked with Georgie at Mourant Ozannes.
Not only colleagues, Louise and Georgie became good friends, often sampling Friday cocktails and going to watch Olly Murs at Manchester Arena.
In her spare time Louise enjoys walking along the many beaches and cliff paths of Guernsey and appreciates the local cuisine.
Louise was honoured to be asked to join the Foundation as Trustee in January 2019.
Jackie Lee
Jackie is a Wellbeing and Enablement Facilitator for local charity Autism Guernsey.
Jackie moved to Guernsey in 2005 to bring up her family after a career in fashion in London. She then spent over 10 years working in education before embarking on her current role with Autism Guernsey.
Jackie got to know Georgie and her family well as Georgie and Annie were her daughter’s favourite babysitters! She remembers well Georgie’s kind and caring manner, cheerful disposition and her smile that could light up a room. Jackie has been actively involved with the Smile for Georgie for several years and was honoured to be asked to become a trustee. Smile for Georgie is such a fabulous charity whose ethos of bringing smiles through random acts of kindness in Georgie’s name is needed today more than ever.
In her spare time Jackie enjoys walking her dogs on the beautiful Guernsey cliffs and beaches and sea swimming. She loves getting off the island to see new places and if she is able to combine this with a concert or some musical theatre all the better!
